combobulate-read is a macro defined in combobulate-setup.el.

Signature

(combobulate-read SHORTHAND &optional LANGUAGE)

Documentation

Read a variable belonging to LANGUAGE with SHORTHAND.

Both LANGUAGE and SHORTHAND must be unquoted. If LANGUAGE is nil, use the primary language for the current buffer.

SHORTHAND is the postfix to use to find the variable named after the LANGUAGE. That name generated by combobulate-get and is usually named combobulate-LANGUAGE-SHORTHAND.
