Arm auto-pause so line mode activates when the alt-screen TUI exits.

Called by interactive ghostel-line-mode when an alt-screen TUI is already running. Stashes an empty snapshot so the alt-screen-off transition picks it up and enters line mode for real. Preserves any existing paused snapshot (the user re-arming should not clobber input captured by an earlier auto-pause).
