claude-code-ide-share-opened-file is a customizable variable defined in claude-code-ide-mcp.el.

Non-nil reports the file you are in to Claude even without a region.

The CLI then shows an "In <file>" label in its prompt and attaches an opened-file reminder to the next prompt. When nil, only active regions are reported: a region is shared while it is active and dropped when it is deactivated, and the file itself is never mentioned.
