Variable: ghostel--line-mode-adopted-count

ghostel--line-mode-adopted-count is a buffer-local variable defined in ghostel-line-mode.el.

Documentation

Characters of pre-existing input the shell's readline still holds.

Set on line-mode entry to the length of input adopted from the renderer (chars typed via the PTY in a previous mode). Cleared to
0 by ghostel--line-mode-clear-shell-readline after sending that
many backspaces to erase them — keeps a subsequent send from duplicating the prefix when the shell echoes our line back.
