Variable: ghostel--password-handled-cursor
ghostel--password-handled-cursor is a buffer-local variable defined in
ghostel.el.
Documentation
Cursor (COL . ROW) where the most recent password handler returned.
Detection is suppressed while the cursor still sits on this row.
This bridges the race window between the user submitting a
password and the foreground program restoring echo (sudo, ssh,
gpg are all canonical+!echo for tens of milliseconds after they
read), which would otherwise look like a fresh rising edge.
Cleared automatically when the falling edge is observed (echo
restored) or when the cursor moves to a different row — both
naturally re-arm the detector for follow-on prompts (a second
sudo in a script, a wrong-password retry that prints Sorry,
try again. on a new row).
