Variable: kkp-restore-legacy-keys-around-subprocesses
kkp-restore-legacy-keys-around-subprocesses is a customizable variable
defined in kkp.el.
Value
nil
Documentation
When non-nil, advise call-process so C-g can abort blocking subprocesses.
While KKP is active, C-g is sent as an escape sequence rather than the
raw quit-char byte, so it cannot abort a blocking, synchronous
call-process (e.g. direnv run from envrc). When non-nil,
global-kkp-mode(var)/global-kkp-mode(fun) wraps call-process to restore legacy encoding for the
call's duration. Read when the mode is enabled, so set it beforehand.
To affect only specific commands, use the kkp-restore-legacy-keys advice
or the kkp-with-legacy-keys macro instead.
