sops-input-type-overrides is a customizable variable defined in sops.el.

Alist of (REGEX . INPUT-TYPE) for files whose extension sops can't infer.

When the file path matches REGEX, INPUT-TYPE is passed as
"--input-type INPUT-TYPE" to sops filestatus, decrypt, and encrypt.

Each car is an Emacs regular expression matched against the file path with string-match-p; remember to escape literal dots (".envrc" matches any single char before "envrc"; use "\\\\.envrc" for a literal dot). Each cdr is the parser name sops should use ("yaml", "json",
"dotenv", "ini", etc.). Pairs are tried in list order; the first
match wins.
